Laptop Choosing Guide

Its time the Intel launched its 4th Generation core family processors and almost all manufacturers are using the latest processor to power their latest Laptops.
Here lets share a light on what we look for our new laptop.
So their is the myth that the latest Games runs only on latest processors. Thats not completely true as long as processor is concerned it plays an important role but it really doesn't matter as much as Graphics Processor. There are 2 graphics giants
1. Nvidia
2.AMD Radeon(Formly ATI Radeon)

These 2 giants rule the graphics market but the use mainly constitute the user preferences. Almost all of the laptop manufacturers use both the graphics in their products ranging from low end devices to high end devices.
Ofcourse we cannot forget INTEL who embeds the graphics into motherboard and acts as an inbuilt memory for graphics.

Now it comes to RAM which is as good as it is more than enough. Generally the gamers prefer more amount of RAM than normal users as games perform well on systems with more RAM.
the best RAM for laptops are produced by Kingston, Samsung, Hynix,Transcend(I dont prefer Transcend personally). While upgrading RAM just make sure it matches your system BUS speed it comes in speed like 12800, 10600 etc and also varies with latency the less the latency and voltage the better RAM. The laptop uses DDR3 RAM.

the space part is handled by Hard drive, whether SSD(Solid State Drive), HDD(Normal spinnig hard disk) or SSHD(Solid State Hybrid Drive).
Nowadays 1TB hard drive or 750gb is normally available in mid or high laptops.

The ssds are very costly and are super fast in performance ,SSHD have best of both worlds as it has some amount of SSD and huge amount of traditional spinning HDD generally at low speed like 5400RPM. But 7200RPM HDD performs equally.

Now the brand comes some people just love a certain brand and wants to stick to it but others try to experiment.
The re known brands are
1.HP(Hewlett-Packard)
2.DELL
3.APPLE
4.LENOVO
5.ACER
6.SONY
and much more(numbered randomly).

Now there are normal laptops and there are ultra-books.
when you need more portability and more power along with more battery power then you better chose an ultra-book which are much more thinner and powerful than a normal laptop.

Most famous gaming system DELL ALIENWARE

Now its up to you and thickness of your wallet while you stand at the entrance of the laptop shop and what you want with your machine.
so get going and grab an annihilator....
and indulge in your world....
